ASK MIKULSKI TO EXPLAIN HER VOTE
Sen. Mikulski was one of 16 Democrats who voted in favor of granting the administration "more latitude to eavesdrop without court warrants on foreign communications that it suspects may be tied to terrorism." (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/04/washington/04nsa.html). Even tho' is temporary, we all know how much can go wrong in that time.

How anyone, especially Democrats, could trust the Bush Administration and give Alberto Gonzalez such unchecked power to violate our privacy is mind-boggling. Every time I talk to family in Malaysia, Australia, and Canada, am I to expect an eavesdropper from the NSA to be listening in? Given their penchant for lies and manipulation, will they use this fishing expedition to go after innocent people by distorting their conversations?

At my naturalization ceremony in August 2002, one of the lines in the pledge was "that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic,"

I MEANT IT!

3. I already sent her a message...
I stated that I was disappointed and didn't think I would root for her in the next election.

Is anyone going to challenge her in the primary? It would send a nice little message.

4. Two weeks, still no response
Her office is always slow to respond to my emails, which are usually positive and congratulatory. This email was especially harsh, as I wrote it in a fit of pique. I wonder if she'll even respond. I hope she doesn't call the FBI on me!

8. You get
a automated response via email, and from working on the hill many moons ago, I can tell you how serious her LA's take your calls. They might get your information, and in addition put you on a list depending on how often you call. You have to also consider rumors are running rampant about her considering retirement during the year of her re-election so keep in mind if that happens and she does decide to retire, the political floodgate's will open all over the state

9. Mikulski's votes

I wrote to Barbara Mikulski AGAIN, and asked if she was going to run as a Republican next time. It took more than two months for her response, which was of course, the Bush line--we are in peril from all the terrorists who are working to destroy us. She learns
about new dangers every day!

What about the peril from our own executive and legislators who are destroying our constitutional rights? Mikulski will never get my vote again.
