AUGUSTA, Maine — Gov. Paul LePage will propose... a new state agency .. Office of Policy and Management ...some ...existing planning office functions and ...new ones to assure programs are being managed efficiently.

“Whether it is an inspector general, or an office of management and budget...” LePage said l... “We need that type of office.”

...Marden’s...used “secret shoppers” to measure employee performance and ...check on whether stores were implementing policies. ...

“We need that in state government, “he said. “ We need to know what is really happening.”

His yap about cutting back government and employees seems to change since his campaign!
Perhaps he should ride one snowstorm with a snowplow driver so he can see what it's like to lean on a shovel for 30-50 hours!and all that overtime at straight pay! wow !
maybe he could take fat ray and fishy to find out how hard these guys work for peanuts!
