3. AS FAR AS JOHN GOES

I HAVE MET HIM AND SEEN BOTH SIDES OF HIM! THE FIRST TIME I HAD TO GIVE HIM A LETTER LETTING HIM KNOW I WAS DOING A SURVEY ON THE ROAD HE LIVED ON. HE WAS POLITE AND TOO THE LETTER AND AS I TURNED TO GO HE GAVE ME THE GERMAN SALUTE AND SAID HEIL HITLER! AT THE TIME HE WAS STILL TEACHING ! I KEPT A STRAIGHT FACE AND WALKED AWAY! BUT MY THOUGHTS WERE WHAT IS HE TEACHING THOSE KIDS?
THE NEXT TIME I MET HIM HE WAS TAKING A PUTER CLASS AT MOUNT ARRAT SCHOOL-(ADULT ED)
HE WAS FRIENDLY AND TALKING ABOUT THE NEED FOR MORE ADULT CLASSES!AT LEAST 20 YEARS SEPERATED THOSE TWO MEETINGS! AS FAR AS SUSAN COLLINS GOES I THINK SHE IS MORE INDEPENDENT THAN GIVEN CREDIT FOR! I KNEW MAGGIE MET HER SEVERL TIMES I PERSONALLY THINK SHE WAS THE BEST ROLE MODEL FOR MANY TO FOLLOW! SHE KNEW IF YOU TREATED AN EMPLOYEE FAIRLY HE/SHE WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT BUSINESS COULD MAKE!

4. When Collins votes for a non-Republican...

...when the biennial election of the Majority Leader comes up in the Senate, or even abstains, then she gets props for being independent. Until then, she's a Republican. She's cruised on the strength of voting against opening ANWAR, the Family and Medical Leave Act and voting against Clinton's conviction after impeachment for too long. Most of those 'independent' votes were ten-fifteen years ago -- today she's Mitch McConnell's reliable soldier.
