Charges, countercharges, more endorsements and more campaign ads made for a busy day Wednesday on the U.S. Senate campaign trail.

Republican U.S. Rep. David Vitter decried the "invasion" of national Democratic Party interests to run the campaign of his opponent U.S. Rep. Chris John.

John disputed Vitter's claim and tried to distance himself from a television ad attacking Vitter, which was placed by the national Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

1. How is the Senate race going?
Freddie, can you offer any insight or opinion on the LA Senate race? My only source is working for Vitter and is playing it close to the vest or is worried about Vitter's chances.
