Tell Nancy Boyda to end the war
On Saturday July 28th, Nancy Boyda will be meeting with members of the
Douglas County Democratic Party at the Lawrence Public Library.

Members of the Lawrence community, sickened by Boyda's continued support
for funding the war in Iraq, will be there to hold her accountable.

During Boyda's election campaign, she promised her future constituents
repeatedly that she would work to end the war immediately. Her voting
record has revealed just the opposite, however, as she has voted
repeatedly to continue funding for the war, and even told the press that
she "was not elected to end the war."

We call on all people of conscience in Lawrence to show Nancy how you
feel, and to make her accountable for her votes.

We will assemble outside the Lawrence Public Library at 10am on Saturday
July 28th to send her a message. Join us. We cannot remain inactive as
long as the occupation of Iraq continues.

2. I wasn't there, but the Lawrence Journal World did a story

Mostly from Boyda's point of view. Very little input from the protesters.
