1. That's just fucking stupid.
I don't like Wal-Mart's benefit policies any more than most of these people. But the ad agency has absolutely no involvement with that.
Full disclosure: I work at Bernstein-Rein, and they are an excellent employer. I also expect to see some people I know in the quarantine. I'd be happy to point them to Bentonville, Arkansas.

2. Damn I hate WalMart
All this time, I thought you made shit people throw away. Now I find out you make shit people throw away AND WalMart is involved????

Does that mean I should go to WalMart, buy shit and throw it away?

Activism can get so complicated sometimes. :scared:

3. Don't worry.
I don't work on the Wal-Mart account. But I still make the shit people throw away. I'm not proud of it. And, I would ask the Quarantine people where they work.

4. Unity
While debate is always healthy, we need to keep foremost in mind the goals and issues we have in common rather than to allow wedges to be driven between us. Remember what Nader did in 2000. Look at the composition of the Supreme Ct which is a direct result.

We need every veteran, Friend of Hillary, Gore supporter, Clarkie, Deaniac, Greenie, Kucinich supporter, NOW member, Hispanic-American, African-American, Asian-American, Muslim, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, unionist, atheist, environmentalist, and gun-owner who is gravely concerned about the preservation of the middle class, shrinkage of the ranks of the poor, and fair tax policies to be united under one tent.

This tent is big enough for all of us, and when we elect a Democratic Congress in 5 months, and a Democrat as President in 2008, then we can finally start making some positive changes.

Please resist the tendency to splinter! United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

6. That Was Wonderful
Thank you so much for providing that link. I really enjoyed listening to Rev. Lowery. If you haven't had a chance yet to listen to Garrison Keillor's "Homegrown Democrat", I highly recommend it. It is similarly inspirational.
