well hell. Storms in KS... lost power will lose this in less than hour
frikkin transformer on our block goes out everytime it storms 30 miles away, we lose power

We got nailed this morning. The lightning was intense and striking really close, lost everything for a while. Next round coming soon!

4. By some stroke of
dumb blind luck, we purchased a house here in Overland Park nearly 16 years ago that never loses power during storms. Even in the big ones, the October snow storm and the two ice storms, we didn't lose at all. I know I'm lucky, and it will be a major selling point whenever we go to sell this place.
