1. Hmm..
What's up with the huge number changes from 6/13/05 to 8/15/05? Did something happen that would shift opinion greatly during that time frame?

One of the biggest changes...African Americans:

41 life/46 choice

33 life/65 choice

Well, not that I look at it, they made up only 2% of the sample so that probably explains that...but it looks like some of the other numbers jump a bit too.

Overall, these look good...glad to know Eastern Iowa is still not overrun by the crazies out west...lol.

2. Democrats
It looks like Democrats overwhelmingly are pro-choice...

8/15/05

26-life
71-choice

Good luck Blouin...you'll need it.

3. Seth, I must spank you
:spank: (which, from reading previous threads doesn't disappoint you...hehe)

The issue is not about life or choice - it is about allowing women to make decisions that effect their bodies and their lives. I know the poll said life/choice and maybe that's what your posting from. But Blouin is pounding his 'I'm for Life' drum a little too loud (because of Culver's position on the death penalty - which is very limited). Frankly, looking at what is about to happen with the Supreme Court, choice may very well be about life for some women.

:hi:

4. Ouch!
Yes, I was just posting what the poll read...

I prefer to to use choice and anti-choice.

Chill out on the beatings!

7. I agree, this isn't something for the Government to decide
and that is obviously what the majority of Iowans think as well. Now, if we can just get our elected officials and candidates to realize that!
