2. Probably the best ISU/NE game in years...
There were a couple questionable decisions made in OT, but I was pretty pleased by the 'Clones, short of a win.

Congrats, Big Red!

5. Illinois
Yeah, Illinois isn't the best either, but it was a sound win and a fun homecoming game!

Not to mention the fun we had while tail gating!

13. Lol
Yeah I saw that on the news Friday night, I thought about ya when I saw the score and figured you would be happy!

Sounds like Cedar Falls has a heck of a team this year!

14. I hope they can keep it up!
Winning is fun!

They play Waterloo East Friday night and East is really struggling this year. So cross your fingers that our streak continues.

11. Debi, your whistling smiley wounds me more than any other's words...
On the other hand, this is too good to be true: I am, no lie, no foolin'.....a Panthers fan.

12. NOOOOOOOOOO

remind me not to check my posts tomorrow!

Not a single sports writer in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls Courier picked Green Bay. It's gonna be an ugly game (I just hope Farve doesn't get hurt).

15. I'll be kind, I can't beat up on Favre too much
If Jake Delhomme forgets what color of jersey his receivers are wearing, as he tends to do, you won't have anything to worry about.

Favre deserves props. Almost wish he would've retired last year and gone out on a high note.

In any case, one of us has to come out waving a white flag...

18. I quit watching at 23-7
I'm not a fair weather fan....WWE Homecoming was on and my 16-year-old wanted me to watch it with him, the The Daily Show was on....anyway, my husband watched the whole thing and gave me the bad news. He said, like it or not this is a bad football team.

Congrats.

19. Thanks for the congrats...but there was a spark of the old Packers
there in that fourth quarter. It was pretty impressive to watch. I dreaded having to wake my Packer-fan wife up and tell her the Pack came back.

20. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope
My husband said Farve did all he could but with the team he has he's lost.

Any update on the injured player - last I heard there was some movement and tingling in his hands.

21. Your hubby's right, he's fighting an uphill battle
Sounds like he's losing more talent around him every game too, with the injuries piling up.

From NFL.com: The Packers said Murphy was alert and awake in the locker room with movement in his limbs, but was complaining of numbness and tingling. He was transported to Carolina's Medical Center for further evaluation and Packers coach Mike Sherman said he would spend at least one night there.

"It was very scary," Sherman said. "It looks like he's going to be OK."
