Rants/Angelo for Gov/Lt.. Gov?!?
A question I received in an online poll:

In the 2010 election for Governor and Lieutenant Governor who are you going to support?
Chet Culver & Patty Judge, the Democrats
Christopher Rants & Jeff Angelo, the Republicans
Another candidate (please specify)
I'm still undecided

Hmm...veddy interestink...

2. Rants fancies himself a small time Tom DeLay methinks
It would be fun to see his special brand of nuttiness exposed to all of Iowa. I would like to think that the good people of Iowa would send him packing with about 25% of the vote.
I would like to ask him a question though. "Mr. Rants, since it often took thousands of dollars in campaign 'contributions' or trips to get bills on the house calendar when you were speaker, how much can lobbyists expect to pay to get some attention when you are governor? Are we talking luxury cars and townhouses?

4. Polling Point
It was a Polling Point poll I received in an email. The subject said it was a poll especially for Iowans. :)

I don't find it on their site, but I didn't look very hard.

5. Where is Rants in regard to that whole Repub squabble in Sioux City last year?
I would assume he sides in with the less moderate people. But like a good politician, I bet he tries to schmooze the extreme RW and the moderates.

6. Better than running for Congress if King steps aside.
This way, if it's statewide, Rants will get his ass handed to him like the punk deserves.
