Indy Star non-endorsement?!
OK, the Republican rag NOT endorsing McSame is big. But why bother to publish a total non-endorsement of anyone?

1. Because they are incapable of endorsing a Democrat.
The only time the Indianapolis Star endorsed a Democrat was the Sunday before the 1964 elections when it was clear that Goldwater was going to lose big time to LBJ. The Star never once endorsed FDR, choosing Hoover instead.
