“IRAQ 2005: Ending the U.S. Occupation!” Multi-media Presentation

Learn how you can make a difference in bringing an end to the U.S. military occupation of Iraq, and help bring U.S. troops home. This program will be both informational and organizational, drawing activists, organizers, and the average citizen into the crucial campaign to engender support for Congressional Resolutions calling for withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

The program will include a multi-media presentation with speakers and the Bloomington premiere of the new film, “Falluja: April 2004”. This revealing documentary by Japanese filmmaker Toshikuni Doi, released in May 2005, investigates the human toll of the U.S. military's bombardment, invasion, and seige of Falluja, Iraq in April 2004.

Activists and organizers from around the state are highly encouraged to attend and participate!

Sponsored by Bloomington Peace Action Coalition

Date: Monday, July 25, 2005
