People travelled from all across the USA to see the one and only F1 race held in the States. They planned 1 week of an Americans scant vacation time for this purpose. This didn't give those fans 3 bad hours. It ruined the better part of a years planning and anticipation.
Don't get me wrong. Michelin is taking a good step here. F1 needs to step to the plate and help out too.
But the damage has been done already.
I'm a huge fan of F1 and this affair doesn't faze me. But I know some people who just became NASCAR fans.
