Oberweis push polled me today

I got a call purporting to be a pollster, first they asked demographic info and party preference, that kind of thing.
Then I was asked if I knowing Bill foster would raise taxes by an average of $3,000 would make me more or less likely to vote for him.
What a scum Oberweis is.

i would have said: did you know that you're conducting a push poll and push polls are illegal in illinois?

(i'm sure they aren't but i would have said it anyway--matter of fact, i think i did tell someone that back in 06 when i got pushed over something--pisses me off)

2. I pointed out the lie

I said that I was assuming they where talking about letting the Bush tax cuts expire. A that is not a tax increase since the legislation cut the GOP passed only cut tax for a specified time. B between me you and Bill Gates our average wealth is 21 Billion dollars.

5. I just posted a thread this afternoon about Foster needing volunteers

... I am volunteering a few nights in their Aurora office. Right now we're calling dems to remind them to vote on March 8. Amazing how many have forgotten already. Come join us if you're interested.

In fact, I am probably going to be up there or thats what they said last night when I was in there phone banking. Call their office tomorrow if you can canvass Saturday and tell them that you would like to do Elgin. Maybe we can do it together? Let me know and/or pm me. I grew up in Elgin and know it fairly well.
