When Senator Obama is elected President.

What do you folks here in Illinois think about Lt. Gov. Quinn? I've heard him, and I like him.
Could he replace Sen. Obama in DC? I think he could be effective.

2. I'm not sure Durbin would like that.
They aren't known to get along, but I suppose that could have changed. I suspect Durbin's opinion would carry a lot of weight in the decision.

3. i still hold a grudge about the single member districts
it was a stupid idea, and ran a lot of diversity out of springfield. didn't save us a dime, either, which was pat's aim.
what has he been up to? haven't heard squat from him.

5. Utilities
I wish someone would care about utilities in Illinois! It is absolutely nuts! No jobs, high utility rates, high gasoline costs, what are we suppose to do? Our answer was to move to Wisconsin where my husband found a good job but my 80 year old mother doesn't really have (or want) that option. She is worried about how they are going to pay the utility rates come summer as my step Dad is on oxygen and needs to have the house cool so he can breathe easier.

6. I like him, too
I like Pat Quinn, too, but it won't be him. I've heard a lot of talk about state Senator Mary Flowers lately.
