1. I'm very disappointed in HI

they have tradionally been good to Gays. Didn't they just refuse to pass a gay rights law? I forget the particulars, but I remember saying "next time Costa Rica." I have family in Maui.

3. my fundie brother who live in HI

has been fussing about gay marriage for years. BUT, his own BIL is gay and the family is in total denial of it.

i really fear that HI will go red in '08 because so many people i know who have been traditionally oppressed, ( Filipinos, for example ) are so loyal to the rightwing. again, a matter of people not voting in their own best interests.

eyes and take notice how the gop is conducting themselves on Iraq and how they made irrevocable tragic errors in rescuing Americans in the face of a natural disaster.

This could happen to Hawaiians again..and would they like to be abandoned by the government to whom they pay their taxes?
