So I work for the State of Florida and am in the DROP. Some
folks are saying that Rick Scott proposes to put me out of work June 30th. That would be great for me. I could collect unemployment compensation, Social Security and a pension while I sue the bastards for breach of contract, age discrimination and whatever else I can think of.

1. please do,
it's been almost one month and this prickscott has said nothing good for the citizens as yet. All I've been reading about is the pension plan, the idea to join multiple agencies and shed jobs and just today to turn medicaid over to privatization.

Good luck.

2. These piratization (not a typo) schemes are a way for fat cats to
make more money, they set up an entity, have it fail and pop their golden parachute. It happened with social services under Jeb.

It is pretty clear that to Scott "taxpayers" means corporations, not the folks buying crap at WalMart.

3. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
The folks buying crap at WalMart are the taxpayers.

The corporations are the citizens.

Prick thinks that his responsibility is to the citizens of Florida.

We're so fucked.

4. I agree with the last part. I expect to lose my job at the end of
June and come out the winner in the end. I can sue these bastards pro se right up the appellate ladder until I am too old to or they give up. I went to law school and know what to do, which is more than I can say for most of the attorneys down here. Plus it will be the only thing I'll have to keep me busy when I'm not fishing. Unfortunately when I win it will fuck the people who shop at WalMart, not the Governor and his pals.
