John Russell Exposes The Florida Public Service Commission For What It Is!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffapnxdNqIM

Ocala, Florida 17, July 2009

Former Congressional Candidate John Russell once again tells it like it is. Holding public comment hearings throughout the state of Florida regarding the proposed rate hikes and proposed construction of the Levy County Nuclear Power Plant, the Florida Public Service Commission heard from the public.

John Russell in his public comments discussed the inherently corrupt nature of a system that is operated by and for the benefit of the corporate sector. John made his points in no uncertain terms much to the chagrin of the commissioners.

In particular, Commissioner Nancy Argenziano in her attempts to distance herself from the very sound arguments made by Mr. Russell inadvertently stepped from the proverbial frying pan... into the fire.

As Commissioner Argenziano attempted to defend her political integrity, John interjected that "The Florida Public Service Commission was a nice parking place for politicians in between elected office positions...."

A point to which Commissioner Nancy quickly responded "YES, YES, YES!"

Further on in the discussion, Commissioner Argenziano pointed out (again while attempting to defend her political integrity), that the Florida State Public Service Commission Does not work WITH the Florida Legislature... It works FOR... The Florida Legislature....

WOW... What happened to the "PUBLIC" in P U B L I C Service Commission? Like the PSC is... Again...

s u p p o s e d to be looking out for the INTERESTS OF .... The PUBLIC... For Crying Out Loud!

Several more video segments of this meeting will follow of other citizens speaking up against the corporate dominance of our governmental decision making.

:nuke:Look for a BIG Announcement concerning Progress Energy and a major effort by a diverse and dedicated group of citizens the goal of which being to permanently disable this corrupt scheme to cheat the public by Progress Energy which seeks through its efforts to limit the choices of the public as to how and where we obtain our energy.
:nuke: New video to follow shortly!

For the past six years now John Russell has offered his voice on behalf of the ordinary man.

John has never been shy about speaking Truth To Power irrespective of the topic. As a Nationally Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with an MBA in Health Systems Management, John is well versed on Health Care Issues. As a former candidate for U.S. Representative, John has long been a strong advocate for a National Single Payer Health Care Plan. John also has taken very strong positions in favor of alternative energy and decentralized power generation and distribution.

At this time John is focusing on advancing the important issues of the day especially National Health Care Reform rather than campaign for public office at this time. Over the past several months, John has been engaged in speaking at public forums, and on television and radio on behalf of Comprehensive Health Care Reform/The Public Option across Florida rather than campaign for public office.

1. the Florida Public Service Commission used to work for the people
I can remember times when I could get no useful response from the phone company, called the PSC, and within 48 hours, the problem was resolved. AND a phone company representative was on my doorstep to explain why they had been wrong and how the problem was fixed permanently.

That was well over ten years ago.

When Jeb Bush came into power, he removed the "service" part of the PSC and shoved it into the realm of the Department of Agriculture's Consumer Services, but did not provide any powers to help that agency force the companies they had new power over to do anything. All they can do is to take reports of complaints and relay them to the companies.

Good to know we have an advocate who is promoting what Jeb turned one of our formerly more responsive government entities into!

3. Russell's Comments On The Buzz Related To Nancy Argenziano's Sweeettt Land Deal W/ Lobbyist!

Watch former Nancy A. do some very entertaining dancing near the end of this video...

Last 2-3 minutes... as I detail the now very obvious ties between the PSC appointees, state officials elected w/ BIG Corporate Ca$h and the Corporations that contribute their Campaign CA$H... To state representatives/senators of BOTH parties as well as the Governor and BOTH state party organizations.

CA$H contributed in "exchange" for the "right" to ensure that the policies that will supposedly regulate their business operations, won't regulate them very much.... If ya know what I mean? Chuckle! This is exactly the kind of policy that they've "paid for in advance" that works to our disadvantage! Video below... Watch Nancy dance...

Pay special attention to Nancy on the phone responding to my comments... Last 2-3 minutes. John Russell
