Hillsborough County residents, new vehicle/license fees in effect September 1st

Effective September 1, 2009, motorists can expect increases in motor vehicle and driver license fees. These increased fees were established by the Florida Legislature as part of the state budget development process.

Vehicle owners with registrations that expire no later than November 30, 2009 may save money by renewing their registrations on or before August 31, 2009 and pay the lower fees.

Just an FYI for anyone that falls into this small window, and yes you can renew online for I believe up to two years worth of registration.
