All my sibs and mother are still there. They were thrilled, but not surprised. Although most folks in Fairfield County are repubs, they are not the religious right kind of repubs.

The Courant actually reported that Democratic registrations have actually surpassed Republican for the first time in ages (if at all) this election cycle.

4. I did hear yesterday that the Rs swept the southwestern part of the state

in smaller elections--state reps, etc. That surprised me.
