Bay Area: Ready for rain? 5 inches expected by Sunday...

Bay Area residents are preparing for the worst with more than five inches of rain expected to fall by Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

"This is a certainly a situation that warrants being watched," National Weather Service Forecaster Bob Benjamin said.

1. Oh, geeze.
Last storm, I got a new book idea "Bad Pickup Lines" when my pick up got stuck in the mud 1/4 mile down the drive way and I had to skate up hill back to the house.

Then, it died at the gas pump in the rain and I had to figure out how to open the hood while looking like I knew what I was doing, while beating on the battery terminals with a wrench I found in the glove compartment.

Then, I had to evict all the guys that took up residence in the mud in the cab while I refused to drive until someone laid down some base rock on the road over the culvert which took about a week.

I can have this truck OR I can have a rain storm but not both at the same time.

Every time it rains up here, my dog comes back from our walks looking like Lucy just made a new batch of chocolates.

lol
