I saw a bush cheney bumper sticker the other day,and a K/E in trader Joes, too. That's it; no lawn signs(1 for mayor), nothing local.Nothing national. no commercials either side.terrbly one sided news though.

1. Its very strange isn't it. Here in my part of Texas (close to Fort Worth) |
|
I am not seeing any bumper stickers either. In 2000, the B/C bumper stickers were everywhere. So far, and I have been looking for months, I have seen 2 B/C and 2 Kerry/Edwards.
bizarre.

2. Maybe it is too expensive for them to produce the signs. |
|
Weird isn't it. Very few signs where I am at too. I live in the central valley. Just recently a few signs have popped up for the local elections. I think I have only seen one sign for the presidential race, unfortunately it is for bushie.

4. i see tons of k/e stuff here |
|
i live in hillcrest - one of the two most progressive areas of san diego, ca (its also our 'out' district if you catch my drift)
every other car here has a k/e sticker and there are even socialist worker activists on the corners - its that open. anyone who drives through with a bush sticker is met with harsh stares and usually alot of laughing.

9. I'm starting to see more K/E stuff |
|
There are a couple of houses with yard signs near my daughter's school, and I am seeing more K/E bumper stickers. There really do seem to be less than in years past.
Were in Stanislaus Co, BTW.

6. it's too bad the party is so disorganized and demoralized |
|
in this area, there is a grasroots movement spearheaded by stonewall to take back the 80th Ad, but the 45 CD is being abandoned as is the senate and presidential elections. I gave JK and I want a bumpersticker.

|
I was driving down Flower Street in Santa Ana the other night (very wealthy area) and I must have seen nearly 10 Kerry/Edwards lawn signs! I was pleasantly surprised!

10. I noticed them too... |
|
I was driving on Ross off on Seventeenth in Santa Ana and I saw a huge number of Kerry/Edwards and Loretta Sanchez signs. That area must have a very dedicated precinct captain!

11. Mostly just bumper stickers |
|
I haven't seen much more than bumper stickers(B and K) and pins (almost all Kerry).
Oh, and lots of voter registration (there is a table every week at the local farmer's market.)
I think the local races won't start up until closer to November.
I'm assuming that none of the federal races are even close.
