1. A "no" vote is meaningless. Diane Feinstein must call for a Filibuster
if her action is to have any meaning whatsoever.

4. That's good news
I was really beginning to think she had completely gone over to the other side.

5. I just knew she would wait until the last minute
I was sorta worried about a smear campaign against her with all this "Bribes for Votes" scandal with Jack Abramoff. I could see them trying to claim that Feinstein was doing the same because she does receive a ton of pro-choice/women's issue money.

And she doesn't have to call for the filibuster, just support it when it happens!!

6. She said that a long time ago
What is important at this point is whether she supports a filibuster or not.

7. I hope so
I've already been called on the carpet in GD for thanking her for her vote.

I keep forgetting to check my DU Guide before posting anything nice about La Feinstein.

11. A no vote will die on party lines
She needs to support a filibuster! I have called her DC office and the office of Sen. Boxer urging them to support a filibuster, or to start it. I also called the office of Sen. Reid and I urged him to support such a move. The person in Sen. Reid's office did not sound to happy about Sen. Nelson (NE) saying he would vote to support the Alito nomination. I also wrote to Sen. Landreau (LA)(how ever it is spelled) and I urged her to reconsider her position on the filibuster.
