Mission Viejo now and I grew up in San Clemente. San Clemente was the only congressional district that had a member of the John Birch society elected to congress, I know conservatives and conservatism. If every Repub. elected to county office here had kept their promise to "cut government" Orange County would be run by 2 part time file clerks.

15. My parents

Moved to San Clemente in 1963, when they went to vote in the 1964 primaries they gave their names and party affiliation, and the clerk working the polls looked up at them and said "Ahhh your the two" yes that’s right in the enter precinct they were the only 2 registered democrats.

It’s not quite that bad anymore but its close.

I've been helping to register voters in Irvine, dems and declines to state are easily the largest number of new registrants. On a purely anecdotal levels it seems like things are trending in our favor.

Got a phone call regarding vets tonight..I am on the East Coast..with a vets org and need some info regarding the area.
I am vocal and Dem but have to stay non partisan on Vet org. But need to know what the makeup of residents who watch station there. Seems they have affiliation with Fox and owned by Cox. Looked that up. anyone enlighten me? thanks....In other words is this a little Fox right winged local station?
