To help support John Conyers call for an investigation into the Downing Street Memo! Show your support and solidarity with those marching in Washington DC at the very same time. It is our earnest hope that our voices will combine into a noise big enough to be heard by our leaders, and our media.

Conyers will be in San Diego 6/25. I'm organizing a massive rally and press conference on the Downing Street Memo for him at noon in Balboa Park, corner of 6th and Laurel.

Bring busloads of friends, please!

He will also be keynoting "Defending Democracy: A Conference on Government Reform and Accountability" on the 25th at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Hillcrest (San Diego). For conference details, contact John Falchi, 619-222-6036.

2. Thanks for the info. Where do you have this rally posted? My

friends and I have been looking everywhere to find a rally. I did know about the Defending Democracy event, I am the lead volunteer for the new chapter of California Clean Money Campaigns, publicly funded campaigns in Californina. I know that the City of San Diego Clean Money group will be there. I get all the local progressive newsletters and I missed your rally. Thank you for contacting me. I will help spread the word.

4. Amy -- It's not posted anywhere yet; we just found out last night

that Conyers is coming. I'm going to a planning meeting tomorrow (one of several planned in the next few days) and will ask DFA's webmaster to get a notice up there. Other organizations cosponsoring may also be willing to post.
