1. In conservative Coronado no less....
I wonder if the retired Admirals will be in attendance?

2. Believe it or not, we actually have a Democratic Club in Coronado,
of which I am a member.

I am in charge of the 4th of July parade float this year. I wanted to have a giant head of dubya with a Hitler-esque mustache, with brown shirts goose stepping handing out cups of kool-aid along the parade route, but for some reason the committee thought it a bit too much! Go figure.

4. I'm going to ask to set up a showing time here in North County area
Edited on Wed May-18-05 04:30 PM by calipendence
at the Black Mountain Dems Thursday meeting this week in Mira Mesa, and hopefully will have a consensus there that we can schedule through Hellocoolworld.com. I have a copy that I can use for a showing here, though it also might be cool to have a large venue to show it at too (which I don't have arranged yet). So those of you here in San Diego that don't want to drive to Coronado, send me a personal note with your time preference, and I'll throw that in with everyone else's here if and when we decide to have a showing.

6. Thanks. Yeah that was too bad Stacy's site was hacked.
Do you know of another place in SD to post this event? I sent it to Activists San Diego, and the SD Democrats newsletter. I would like to have a good turn out for this.

After the screening, I am going to give a short talk about clean money elections. http://caclean.org/

Thanks, Amy
