Press Release
Once again, Republicans have shown their complete disdain for ordinary American people. Gene Daughtry, Pope County Republican Central Committee Chairman, says that his partys goal is to defeat The American Jobs Act and make President Obama a one-term president. Of course, in the process of realizing PCRCC Chairman Daughtrys goal, you and your family will become much poorer. So I hope that their goal will fill your belly and keep your children in shoes.

Because you see, last week Steve Womack did vote for a multi-billion dollar infrastructure and jobs bill and then he went on vacation. Yeah for us? Not so fast! Theres one problem with Congressman Womacks vote. Not one of those billions of dollars will be coming to our state. No. You see, Steve Womack (R) voted against The American Jobs Bill. He voted against $987,000,000 for Arkansas to fix our crumbling bridges and dams and roads. He voted against our citizens having jobs. He voted against the prosperity of our state.

Steve Womack voted against our future. Isnt that a kick in the pants? One in four of us go to bed every night hungry. We rank number 17 in the nation for poverty and rather than take care of the people of his district, Steve Womack voted for billions of dollars to take care of the people and infrastructure of Afghanistan and Iraq! What do Steve Womack and the Republican Party have against ordinary Arkansans?
