I am getting a little disgusted with Terry Goddard and his mouth.
First he put out a statement going after Raul Grijalva about the boycotts. I don't agree that Raul should've gone out there and promoted boycotts, but that's Raul's opinion and he can do what he wants - let the voters decide if he should've said that or not.

Today I get an email from his campaign and he is going after the Obama administration!! for not creating enough jobs. I personally agree with him there BUT

SHUT YOUR MOUTH TERRY! The last thing we need in our state right now is to have public infighting between the Democrats in our state. and against this administration. We need unity. We need to show that the Dems can do a better job running this state than these insane people that are in power now. He did continue in his last statement to go after Brewer & the damage she has done to the reputation of our state - why didn't he just leave it at that and instead of going after Obama give us his plan to bring more jobs to Arizona????? On second thought - the Obama administration IS bringing a huge Solar Development Co to Arizona, which is wonderful since Brewer had an opportunity to do the same last year and didn't even try. He could have at least said that was a start.

Now I'm wishing that Goddard had a serious challenger. I am losing alot of respect for him. Come November I will hold my nose and vote for him. I do think he will make a great Governor, but in the meantime he is acting like a JERK.

1. Sounds like Goddard is trying to be more of a Republican than a Democrat.
Maybe he thinks it's the only way he has a chance of winning here.

2. I thought that too but he's wrong. Not only have Democrats increased in this state there are also
moderate republicans out there. If anyone should run with a campaign slogan of Change and Hope - it's Goddard. AND Glassman.

sigh....

3. I agree and why isn't he calling Brewer's insane lies?
With such outlandish claims and lies, how come Goddard isn't taking advantage of this instead.

4. Linda Valdez in today's Republic said he needs to run against Russell Pearce
and say that if Brewer wins, Russell Pearce will essentially run this state because she won't stand up to him. That's if he becomes president of the state senate. I think the paper was right - if Pearce is king, education and other social programs are toast, business will have even larger tax cuts, and Arizona will indeed drown in the bathtub.

"Goddard has to sell himself to voters as the governor who will check the radical excesses of Pearce, who hopes to be state Senate president next session and can be expected to implement an agenda so far out of the mainstream that he won't even get his feet wet.

Goddard is the guy who can keep Pearce from running the state.

Brewer won't stop Pearce. She owes her sudden popularity to him. Signing Pearce's immigration bill, the controversial and damaging Senate Bill 1070, gave her poll numbers with Republican primary voters that challenger Buz Mills' millions won't move and state Treasurer Dean Martin can only dream about.

Brewer isn't likely to cross Pearce if she wins in November.

Goddard's goal should be to remind voters of that early and often."

6. What can I say
I don't know if I can hold my nose to vote for him. He is hurting the entire party.

7. I guess I consider a vote for Goddard is a vote against Brewer.
I want her out of office as much as I wanted W to lose in '04.
