What do make of the Logan Young case?
First the Memphis police said that Logan Young was brutally murdered, and that the body was so badly damaged, that positive identification could not be done until fingerprint and dental records were checked.

The next day, they say "No never mind." Mr. Young's death was an accident. He was carrying a bowl of salad and a diet coke up the stairs when he fell backward and hit his head.

What's up with that?

4. here's a non-sequitur for you
The biggest rat I've ever seen was in a pizza joint on Beale Street in Memphis. That sucker was bigger than a chihuahua. We didn't have to pay for the meal.

2. I am so glad I'm not the only one
who thinks that complete switcheroo in public stories is insane. The guy and the room they found him in were supposed to be bloody as all get out, and all of a sudden it's not a homicide?

Somebody got paid off. Big time.

3. you're far from the only one
Finebaum devoted his entire show to the topic Friday. Well, at least all of it that I listened to.

Just about all the callers think there's a cover-up going on. They just couldn't agree on who the perpetrator was. Mal Moore, Phil Fulmer, and the Mafia were all popular choices. I think one caller even mentioned the Illuminati. :tinfoilhat:

I hope the cover-up is uncovered. Unless someone connected to UA did it. ;)

(I still find it oddly amusing that spellcheck wants to replace "Finebaum" with "Sunbeam.")

7. Sunbeam is the top suggestion
But "Firebomb" is also listed. I'd say that would be closer. :)

5. It may take a while for the truth to come out
It took seven years for a city councilman in Lanett to be arrested for the murder of his wife, even though EVERYONE around there knew he did it. I don't know if the Lanett police were, in fact, covering it up. But their actions sure looked like they were.
