Another newspaper blaming us for emailing during the debates
My problem with this story is that before CBS finished airing about the documents on Bush National Guard story Freepers were sending emails and the media didn't find that odd. Now we are being blamed for sending emails when Kerry won the debate. They even claim our support for Kerry came at a bad time. This is PURE MEDIA BIAST. We need to respond.

This support for Kerry came at a bad time

October 4, 2004

Last Thursday's presidential debate was still in progress when the e-mails started trickling in from citizens around the country. At 8:28 p.m. CST, Catie Tierney of Douglas, Ga., wrote: "John Kerry did an AMAZING job tonight. His arguments were valid and very well-said. I sincerely hope he wins the election this fall. He will make a far better president than Bush."

Even most Bushies concede the debate was not the president's finest moment -- but come on, 500 to 0? These e-mails seemed about as authentic as the missives I get from Congo dictator Mobuto Sese-Seko, asking my help in transferring his secret stash of millions.

3. Good for us
If 500 clear minded rational humans were locked in a room and had to watch the debate last thursday and then immediately name a winner, a 500 to ZERO vote for Senator Kerry would not be out of the question. In fact it would be plausible and down right American. Keep on kicking ass my fellow DUERS!!!

4. "not one supported Bush"
But of course. The Bush e-mail propoganda machine was too stunned by his outrageously bad performance to act.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of them actually came to their senses and decided to support Kerry.

6. "500 to 0?"
The writer can question the authenticity of the 500, but he's avoiding an explaination for the 0.

7. Wait until the next debate is over.
You can write your emails before hand and even during the debate. Then send them after the fact. I had a few written up - debunking the 87 billion dollar myth. Etc. Some of the stuff we know they are going to say some stuff.

8. Hey.. I'm sorry the Bush supporters are unable to compose an email..
.. bummer. Perhaps he can attract some intelligent followers before the next debate. Just because we all wrote, does NOT negate our FEELINGS!!! It doesn't change that ALL of us think Kerry won!
