If Bush is giving tax cut's how does he expect us to pay off this huge debt we're in? I think Kerry's idea (making more wealthy families pay who can afford it and I liked how Kerry said like himself and Bush) and hopefully Kerry wins and we can pay off this huge debt we're in so my kids (I have some day) and grandkids won't have to pay it. x( Bush put us in this debt, so what is he going to do? Just close his eyes? "If I can't see it, then it can't see me!"

Of course, he gave us that tax gap. That was a huge gaffe.

2. Bush's whole economic philosophy is based on starving the

government. You can't get rid of social programs (sell them off to the private sector) as long as there is money left in the treasury. Thus, the deprivation of the surplus and now the huge deficits.

3. The (failed) idea was that it was going to be a temporary

stimulus deficit. However like everything else * has done it now looks to be a ruse to have a good excuse to eliminate all social spending.
