Is that Bush had more Substance, while Kerry had more Style. Imagine that. Just imagine the media ridiculing Kerry for being TOO charismatic and eloquent. If he'd lacked style, he would have been "the same old old winded Kerry". What's a guy to do?

But this phrase "Style over Substance" is dangerous, because it IMPLIES the opposite without actually saying the opposite. The only Substance I heard coming out of Bush's mouth during that debate was the sort of viscous stuff they sprinkle over freshly plowed fields.
