Kerry is going to kick ASS tonight !
I've got a good feeling about this. Lots of people only know Kerry from what the repugs have said about him. He'll suprise those who don't know him well. He's going to come off great. It's going to legitimize him to many voters who were reluctant.

Smirk has got nowhere to run. He is stuck on a podium with somebody who will throw the truth in his face again and again. This ain't his once a year prescreened press conference with no follow up. If he wants, Kerry can keep coming back and point out the BS flowing out of the chimp's mouth. People know when they're being scammed - and Kerry didn't sign a loyalty oath.

1. true, that
Plus, since Kerry is actually capable of speaking extemporaneously, he can actually tailor his answers to respond directly to the Bushit as it flows.

Bush, being unable to speak anything that Karen or Karl didn't drill into his head verbatim, does not have this option.

He's going to have several sovereignty-esque moments tonight. Oh how the Bushisms will flow.

2. Why do you think Bush didn't want to be questioned by Kerry??
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 06:03 PM by kerryin2004
He knew Kerry would own his ass if he allowed him to be able to ask questions.. Bush is a chicken shit when it comes to living up to his fuck ups. Expect to see alot of vetted soft ball questions from the peanut gallery for Bush..

3. but talking points were passed out, and the media has written the results
Nearly a third of Americans say they won't be watching tonight (I really think it will be more than that...after all isn't World Wrestling Entertainment's SMACK DOWN on the tube tonight? :spank:)

Many Americans will let the media "talking heads" tell them who won TOMORROW.

6. I'm prepared to be suprised
When we've had a day like today in Iraq, I can't believe that the press will come out over the top for asswipe. I have no illusions of honesty from the media, but with blood flowing in the streets there is a much better chance of a positive result. How in hell can he come out spinkling rose pedals?

8. They're making it all a referendum on Kerry
as if he's the one who screwed up in Iraq, as if he's the one without a sufficient plan, as if he's the one responsible and the only one expected to BE responsible.

Makes me crazy!!!

Must stay calm.... Must stay calm... Must stay calm....

13. The winner will be the one..
who keeps the focus on the other. Kerry's got the advantage in pointing to the record. Yes, Bush can bring up obscure voting records on Kerry, but I'm sure that the dems have been practicing 50 ways to turn this back on our current situation.

9. I hope you're right. Today a local talk show host who is for Kerry
as a matter of fact was talking about debates. He was discussing an editorial about debates, I didn't catch who the author was. Anyway it basically said in every debate the one people consider the most likable guy wins and short of Bush making a major goof Kerry will lose. It's a sad commentary on the American voter but there is a lot of truth in it. I would add myself it's the one the news media tells people that won. Who knows what the news media will find to nail Kerry with maybe he will come off as a know-it-all, he is disrespectful of the pResident, he had too much makeup, he looked at his watch etc. If he makes his answers to long he will be boring. If he makes them short, he didn't give a clear answer.

15. Likeable good, but also needs grasp of reality
Remember Reagan's last year in the WH? He was likeable as my Grandpa - and twice as gone. Kerry can error on the side of serious - and it will only help him on this issue of national security

If what she says is true, Kerry's going to be a total gentleman. I hope to God she is just trying to fake Mathhews out.
