1. Actually the difference is Kerry can

drink beer in public because he doesn't have an addiction problem. Bush* drinks O'Douls in public but after already getting sloshed so his face is red and his speech is slurred. A sober man who can have a beer now and then vs. a drunk who pretends he is sober!

There are just too many stories out there for not one of them to be true. You can watch a clearly intoxicated bush in this video taken 8/29/1992 6 years after he was born again and stopped drinking.

He told Barbara Walters that he used to drink to excess because "he liked the taste of it."

BULLSHIT!

If he'd ever spent one day in rehab or AA, he'd know that it's because, as an alcoholic, his DNA in configured in such a way that he is rendered incapable of stopping once he starts drinking. That one needs therapy or group support to cope with a true alcoholic's powerlessness over alcohol. That one of his ancestors was probably an alcoholic -- and that's how he inherited the disease.

He needs to understand his disease before he says stupid shit like that on TV in front of the whole country. Betty Ford must just CRINGE every time Bush talks about his drinking -- it sets back her work 100 years.
