3. I'm no expert or doofus talking head
But I don't see Kerry winning Arkansas. Gore didn't really come that close, and from what I've seen of the polls, Kerry hasn't been that close either. I KNOW, they are just polls. Just a hunch.

4. I agree!
The pollsters we are hearing from have some fundamental flaws in their polling methods that are detrimental to Kerry, so people should STOP relying on them as being accurate!

I think their "likely voters" profile is crap.

Their failure to use only landline phones is crap.

Those are just two things--there are more.

7. sorry for the short post...
he will win arkansas because:

1. the youth vote (bigger turnout than ever, much better numbers than *)

2. minority vote

3. the state & national polls have very weird methods of asking and/or gathering opinions... I really don't trust numbers that swing that wildly.

4. They are not polling cellphones

5. arkansas is not stupid & it is after all clinton country

6. Bush is losing with people, he is out of touch & he's pigeonholed himself to the evangelicals.

7. smart people will eventually see Kerry for the strong courageous war-hero that he is.

10. 4. They are not polling cellphones
You know, they're overlooking another phone group, too.

How about the huge number of new poor and newly homeless, who have NO PHONES AT ALL?

Phone service isn't cheap, and given that there are still a few pay phones around, and a neighbor may have a phone, that may be one of the first things the poor drop.

I understand there are movements to register homeless people (who are NOT all derelict drunks - many are families) and lots of other disenfranchised people.

Foreclosure rates are at an all-time high.

These citizens have more reason than most to vote against Bush.
