You know the Right is flailing when...
the AM talking heads get more and more frustrated and angry.

Rush was damn near foaming at the mouth today, ranting and raving about Kerry.

I've been noticing the general tone of the AM talk shows over the last few weeks. Ever since the RNC, when things were going well for them, hot off the swiftboat liars, the tone has changed greatly.

I think bringing in Carville, Begala, et al was the BEST thing that's happened. The talking heads are in non-stop defense mode!

1. Just a few weeks before the Dem Convention
I happened to turn the car radio on and OOOPS! left it on the station Rush airs locally. :puke: A caller was wringing his hands and whining "why are Republicans DOING something! What is going on with Bush!" Rush just kept talking to him calmly and reassuring him, don't worry. There's plenty of time. This is nothing. Stay focused and don't worry.

A couple of days later, I got into the car and thought...hmmmm, I'll just check in. It was the same thing going on! :wow: So, the diehards have been worried for quite some time. They know Bush is absolutely vulnerable! It's the talking heads and biased media that feed them with comfort (and when necessary, rage).

We need to keep it up and keep working hard! Harder than we ever have before! If they feel threatened (which they do), it will be more dirty tricks, 527's, attacks, mail campaigns, whispering campaigns, etc. They're nasty people when it comes to politics and unashamed of being so for the Flim-Flam Man.

2. does anyone remember the Scanners movies?
It's kinda like that -- their blood vessels are snaking across their foreheads, sweat and grease pouring out of their pores, eyes so wide you can see the whites all the way around, and yellow foam and spittle running out of their mouth.

I keep watching and hoping one of their heads will just assplode.
