Good news in Dallas!
Hey ya'll--

Looking for some good work to do this weekend I stumbled upon the Dallas for Kerry blog.

Check this out....

http://dallasforkerry.com/blog/journal/journal_comments.asp?JournalID=10

I know at least 4 or 5 of these people, and their hard work is amazing. I've been slacking a bit the past few weeks; feeling tired and cranky. I'm feeling re-energized reading this.

Looks like it's my Rockwall Dems meeting, Bishop Arts voter reg, and the Pride Parade this weekend.
FSC :-)

1. I want to be there tomorrow
I told my wife that we had a meeting tomorrow. She asked me if I had to go? I asked why. She wouldn't tell me, but today is my birthday, and I think she has a surprise birthday party set up for me. Quite frankly, I'd rather be at the Center tomorrow.

I won't be around for the whole thing, because my friend's event in Bishop Arts starts at 10; I'll try to get down there as soon after the meeting starts as I can.

I need to at least put in an appearance since I missed last month; need to see my friend Dot. I'll make my announcement and then go, most likely. You can fill me in on the good stuff!

Warning from Jeanine: some kind of arts festival in the square and they'll use the senior center parking, so get there early! And yes, definitely bring the wife! It's so great seeing our numbers jump! When Charles starts calling people before every meeting, you know we're going for crowds!

FSC =)

PS- Happy birthday!

But you should get there okay.

I think Lea (my wife) has a surprise birthday party planned for me. She didn't seem very happy when I told her about the meeting at 11:45. If I'm there, look for the guy with the goatee and glasses. I'll be wearing my vote democratic cap.

James

Thanks for your kind thoughts. Birthdays seem to come up more and more often.

4. KICK!
Hate to kick my own thread, but these awesome Dallas Democrats need a little more love than that.
