5. It was a dem seat has been vacant since June when Ellen Tauscher joined the State department
Two new democratic votes in the house that were not there a week ago.

3. From what I read, Pelosi had as many as 230 or more - but
she may have released some to vote Nay to protect their seats.

Leadership usually gives some vulnerable seats permission to vote nay so long as passage is assured.
