1. He really stabbed Obama in the back on this legislation. Obama has to be sorry about this now,
and learned the hard way about Lieberman.

2. okay, another not quite so clear memory on my part but...
there was some sort of 'incident' or other during the campaig when Lieber shot off his jowls yet again (McCain was involved too I believe) and a snap was taken of Obama talking to him aside and looked like Lieberman was getting whatfor from Barack. That picture floated around here.

3. Maybe this time, DEM leaders in the Senate will get some pointed face time with Obama
Would be good to hear they were re-thinking some committee chairs and giving them to DEMOCRATIC members of the Senate.

6. Lieberman supported McCain after Obama won the Dem nomination...
Obama took Lieberman aside on the Senate floor for a short, private word.

I remember seeing videos of it.

10. Oh I MISSED the picture!!!!!
But I remember the moment!

It stands in my memory as one of the sexiest coolest things Barack Obama has ever done.

5.  I remember when folks were arguing about this! LOL!
The thing is ASFIIK, he hasn't said he would support a filibuster and we don't know if he isn't doing something by request as has been rumoured.I am no fan of Joe but these waters are getting thick.

8. This is Lieberman speaking of Harry Reid
as quoted by TPM: "I also told him that if the bill remains what it is now, I will not be able to support a cloture motion before final passage. Therefore I will try to stop the passage of the bill"
That sounds pretty definite to me. Where's the ambiguity? Unless Reid is secretly conspiring with Joe to sandbag the public option.
