Cheney pleads for kindness toward protester--LOL
Article from the Albany Democratic Herald
<http://www.dhonline.com/articles/2004/09/18/news/oregon/state01.txt>

.....A few minutes into his speech, while Cheney was touting the Bush administration's record in the Iraq war, an unidentified protester wearing a white T-shirt that said "Pro-Jesus. Bring home the troops now,'' started shouting "Stop the war!''

Audience member Art Briga, a former Marine from Springfield, then ran up from behind the protester, and grabbed him in a headlock, until security guards could escort the protester and a friend out of the hangar.

"I thought it was discourteous for him to do that. That was the Vice President of the United States,'' Briga said.

As the two was being led out of the hangar, Cheney quipped, "Treat them kindly now.''

Complete with smirk I am sure...

3. So basically...
if Bush steals another election, there are going to be fucking brownshirts like that Marine around to 'keep us in line'? Nice. Wouldn't want anyone to exercise their free speech or anything. And we wonder how Iraqi's ended up with glowsticks up their asses...
