17. Now I know why Malia kept wearing the Peace t-shirt and carrying the Peace bag
This is wonderful. In a way it is saying that the US has an adult in the WH now who doesn't have his fingers on the Nuclear Button.

Love Tutu. Thanks Jackeens. You are a winner.

51. Better than that
Any American President "has his fingers on the nuclear button". You now have one committed not to pressing it; and, moreover, to working towards that day when there will be no nuclear buttons any more.

15. I LOVE the photo of Bishop Tutu!
Obviously, the previous Nobel Laureates don't seem to believe that the newest member of the club has diminished the meaning of the prize.

But I DO wish the photographer wouldn't take pictures of the President when he's talking to me on the phone (#7) - our conversations are supposed to be private . . .

22. Imagine. While many of us were arguing and snapping
at one another over whether he should have or shouldn't have and who's an idiot for feeling differently from us and how the media is either too liberal or too conservative and how he hasn't done what we want when we want and whether Rush-Bleeding-LIMBAUGH should own men or judge women, he and many, many others are working for a more peaceful, healthier, happier world. I think I need to go out and do something for somebody.

Thak you, Jackeens. A picture is indeed worth, well, you know.

36. Thank you so much for your uplifting picture threads, Jackeens!
I am so proud of our President! And what an inspiration for all of our young people!

What a shame that his parents and grandparents, especially his mother and grandmother who were both very important in his life, are not here to share this great honor with him! But I have to believe that they are all together now and applauding his efforts from a Better Place.

42. great pics
if you all could hark back to how we felt when he was elected, it's easy to see why he won this.
The whole world together felt the the moment. Pride, happiness and hope. I pictured people in other countries saying
those Americans, you never know what they'll do. Loved him then, love him still.
