First Lady Michelle Obama going to Copenhagen on Oct 2nd
Edited on Fri Sep-11-09 01:41 PM by BluegrassDem
Mrs. Obama will be leading the Olympic delegation trying to bring the Olympics to Chicago in 2016. She's got a hell of a sales job ahead of her, but she is just as good, if not better of a salesperson, than Barack. It would be awesome if she helped bring the Games here! I'm all for it!!

4. I'm here right now and you're right. It's a fab city.
The Danes are fantastic. Laid back, happy, the city is clean, transportation wonderful. Absolutely amazing. But expensive! Yikes!

6. I wish she would lead a delegation to bring comprehensive single payer
health care, or Medicare part E (E is for Everyone) to every American.

That is what Eleanor Roosevelt would be doing if she was here.

How about if Michelle leads a delegation promoting the public option?

That would have alot more impact and effect on most of our lives than the Olympics.

7. Why bother? What a stupid post.
I'm sorry, she is not a politician. She's the First Lady. The Olympics are for her hometown and she has every right to go there and put on a good show for our country for just a couple of days.

8. Of course. Eleanor Roosevelt was a really stupid person too.

:sarcasm:

Interesting I didn't know that it was the First Lady's jobs to put on good shows in their home towns.

Maybe you post an update on how Michelle flashed her toned arms there. The nation waits with baited breath.
