Jow Wilson's actions are the moral equivalent of the caning of Sen. Sumner
Some things should never happen in a democracy. It shows that they have lost all moral principles.

2. I think this is why there needs to be some reprimand.
The mood and discourse (or what passes for discourse) in this country is too volatile right now to let such disrespect pass without some kind of censure. Otherwise, I'm afraid such boorishness will only escalate into God-knows-what. You open the door a crack and the next thing you know, it's wide open.

I'm glad someone else thought of the Sumner caning.

3. Joe Wilson is the face of the GOP today. I'm glad he did what he did.
He kept the craziness from the GOP in the spotlight.
