Sorry to say...but I am suspicious of the current Media's respect in reporting on Ted Kennedy....
There is something about the respect that the MSM is paying Kennedy today that makes me think that they will turn on him the day after his Funeral....because their tone is quite kind and benevolent, and that is not how they normally deal with Democrats, in particular, one so important as Ted Kennedy.

So yes, I'm skeptical about the current coverage, because of the Media's consistent track record of turning on a dime against specifically great Democrats (only Republicans normally get the "bury the negative forever" treatment. :(

2. We should be suspicious. They have a
long record of being two-faced. I remember when the "news" we got was an early version of "Today" show and 15 minutes per network in the evening. They had to cram a lot into that 15 minutes and we actually heard news. There was no time for people like Coburn, Kyl, Boehner, and others of that ilk. The media have gone so far downhill since then I don't think they will ever recover.

4. They're already turning on him
Because in the middle of all that praise, is a bunch of bullshit about "compromise" and "bipartisanshit" (not a typo) and how Teddy would be willing to pass any old crappy bill just to get something done and fix it later.

In other words, the fucking vampires are trying to use Teddy to pass some half assed insurance whore friendly bill.

Sickening :puke:

the public option for the sake of compromise as some in the media have said, and Dean said no. Shuster seemed to be on his side. Dean called today a day of resolve to get this bill passed.

5. I don't think anyone other than FAUX news would dare
to make us mad about the treatment of Kennedy by them while they are trying to derail health care reform. Kennedy is already becoming a rallying cry for the public option to be passed. They don't want to make him anymore of a hero, but they can't just trash him either.

6. They may be crying crocodile tears but even they know
what a mistake it would be to dance on the grave of so august a historical person. It will be awhile before they show their true colors.

9. Brian Williams today promised that NBC would.....
.... be showing "the good AND the bad..." on their broadcast tonight.

Which is why I will not be watching Brian Williams ..... tonight or any other night for that matter.

If not, they're just making sure the beast is dead and embalmed by cable spin.
