Question regarding the DLCs choices and merits of same...
...if Clark is so much more liberal than the other Democratic candidates, and if he is so solidly against the war, why hasn't the DLC issued statements calling him "out of touch with mainstream America"? Why haven't the DLC leadership penned missives on how his unwillingness to support the Iraq war is a demonstration of his weakness on matters of national security? Why hasn't he been crucified for his statements regarding laxity of preperation regarding S11? I realize that Clark can't "waffle" on anything, because his positions and policies and party are a work in progress and all, and he's no record of domestic achievement to judge his statements against...but really, why the peculiar silence?
