Only mistake was not explaining that the public option wouldn't pay Medicare rates when asked about Medicare/Medicaid rates.

28. It is so very refreshing to see a President who can speak off the cuff intelligently

after the B--- years. He just sounds...like an actual person instead of a doofus. And he handled that event with complete aplomb. I may not agree with every bit of his platform but I sure do like the guy...a hell of a lot.

30. Watched on C-span. The calls afterwords were encouraging.

Even a Republican or two called in and liked what they heard. One caller though was complaining about such a large 1,000 page bill. They don't understand. That is just one of at least 4 bills, and who knows what the final one will look like. Anyway - the president did a good job, as usual.
