Tweety loved it -- he laughed and replied that he was glad Buchanan said it and not him. Matthews has aimed a lot of criticism and gibes at Palin, though he's kept any of those mild for a while now. I recall him saying that he'd love to have her on, and I suppose that's the reason. I think he's on a fool's errand there, because since her fiasco with Couric, she's stuck almost exclusively to cotton candy interviews with sycophants like Beck, Hannity, Ziegler, and Van Susteren.
