Would you choose some one who had the strongest arguments

The person most like yourself politically

Or the one who could see both sides of an argument works to reconcile disparate views and build consensus.

Or some other criteria.

Actually, if we were looking for DU leadership, it would be nice to find someone who could help promote commonality and get away from the self-induced polarity. I like the discussions, but the nasty personal level stuff doesn't help.
