McCain: Unions are Running the Obama Administration!!!!111
Via The Hill:

Organized labor is dictating a large portion of the Obama administration's work, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) alleged Monday.

"The unions are running a lot of this administration," McCain said during an appearance on the Mike Broomhead show on local radio station KFYI.

"Look what just happened with Chrysler and General Motors," McCain added.

McCain referenced the auto bailouts as well as President Obama's push for a healthcare reform package that includes a public (or "government-run") option for consumers as examples of union influence on the administration.

4. I think if the unions were running the administration...
We would have a single payer health care crammed down congress throat like it or not.

The only thing running Washington is the $$$$$$ from the lobbies.

11. McCain has long ago entered his desert rat phase. He's an
old crank being hauled on a gurney between MEET THE PRESS and FACE THE NATION, blathering about issues on the far-margin of their essence and nowhere near their center.

He is a reactionary deep and true. A partisan hack.

Unions, which have been eminently popular in the households of my family tree for some time now, lent money and muscle to McCain's opponent correspondent to national trends which also ran in favor of McCain's opponent.

He's generally on the wrong side of ever issue. He pounds his angry fist on the table because things have not gone his way. If any of us were looking for problem-solvers in the current U.S. Senate, John McCain would likely be somewhere around 94 or 95 down the list.

12. McCain is beating a dead horse - unions.
Unions have no power any more. They barely have existence. Take the UAW, who rubber-stamped every issue that automobile management came up with, and stood with management even as their jobs were being outsourced.

You could look at the archived Sunday talk shows for every Labor Day, the only time unions get a national forum, and look at how the labor spokesmen shrink and wither as time goes on. And the talk show hosts get tired of talking to union people, like they were assigned to do some fluff piece like interviewing the oldest American mother on Mother's Day.

I say it again; it's been a long time since River Rouge.
