I'm trying to be optimistic, but...
I think Kerry is going to lose. He's made too many monumental mistakes--from leaving himself open to charges by the Swift Boat Vets to this latest disaster with CBS. While I doubt Kerry's camp has anything to do with the forged memos, it leaves Bush basically smelling like a rose and implies desperation on behalf of the Kerry campaign.

So....I guess it's Hillary in 2008. We may as well start campaigning for her now. Like Dukakis, another Massachusetts Democrat snatches defeat from the jaws of victory!!

49. I think coming out hard on Bush's
record, reminding everyone that 9/11 was more or less his fault on his watch. Also, going after the Bush-Saudi (BFEE) connections. Plus, If I were Kerry, Id make a point to advertise his domestic (economy, health care) positions, compared to Bush's healthcare plan, Kerry's idea looks like diamond coated gold.

A little bit of advice... at DU, people with low post counts are looked at VERY suspiciously by many here. Dont be suprised if I get accused of being a freep for talking to you (not that I care ;)). I dont like it, but that is the order of things.

I honestly think that some have disillusioned themselves into thinking that a Kerry victory is guaranteed, and whenever any evidence is shown to the contrary, they flame it, ignore it, or the like. Truth of the matter is, Kerrys odds of victory are NOT assured, Id put him at 50/50 right now but I think (hope) the debates will help.
